Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $28.50 hourly for 30 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant is required.

Job duties:
– Provide orientation, train and supervise newly hired staff on company’s policy, rules and work procedures;
– Determine and establish or improve office procedures and routines;
– Schedule and confirm customer appointments;
– Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages;
– Answer email enquiries;
– Compile data, statistics and other information for marketing purpose;
– Order hairstyling products and chemicals and maintain inventory;
– Greet people and direct them to service areas;
– According to the owner’s instructions, open and distribute regular mail, incoming email and other material to staff members, and co-ordinate the flow of information;
– Set up and maintain manual and computerized customer information filing systems; and
– Help owner recruit new staff.
