Job Details:
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or two years to less than three years of experience in food preparation or service are required
Job duties:
– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of kitchen staff and counter attendants;
– Train kitchen staff and counter attendants in sanitation and safety procedures;
– Ensure food service and quality control is always properly implemented according to the service and quality standards of J. San Sushi Bar;
– Train staff in job duties;
– Ensure take-out and delivery orders are properly handled by counter attendants and kitchen staff;
– Report operational issues to the company’s management when required;
– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
– Prepare budget and cost estimates for supplies and beverages;
– Order supplies and beverages, and ensure a healthy level of stock is always maintained
