Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $16.80 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required;
– Knowledge or Work experience in cooking Japanese cuisine is an asset.
Job duties:
– Prepare ingredients and cook stock, soup and sauce for ramen dishes;
– Boil ramen noodles, make and present ramen dishes;
– Prepare and make toppings for ramen dishes such as Pork Chashu, Seasoned Eggs, Tonkatsu, and Karaage;
– Prepare and present Donburi, Bread, and Side Dishes such as Chashu Don, Yakisoba, Japanese Style Curry Rice, Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, and Shokupan;
– Prepare and present Desserts such as Yogurt Cheesecake with Strawberry Jam, Strawberry Mochi, Hojicha Affogato, and Kuromitsu Kinako Ice Cream;
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances upon request;
– Plan menus, determine size of food portions, and estimate food requirements and costs;
– Maintain inventory and records of foods/ingredients supplies and equipment;
– Place orders for foods/ingredients supplies and equipment as necessary;
– Clean, sanitize, organize and inspect kitchen and work areas.
