Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook in a restaurant is required
Job duties:
– Make soup, boil noodles and prepare ingredients for Japanese Ramen noodle with minimal supervision;
– Prepare, cook, and present appetizers such as Edamame and Kimchi with minimal supervision;
– Prepare, cook, and present Japanese style deep fried dishes such as Takoyaki and Karaage using a deep fryer with minimal supervision;
– Plan menus and determine size of food portions and presentation of food;
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
– Estimate food requirements and costs;
– Order supplies and equipment;
– Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
– Clean and inspect kitchen and work areas
