Kintori Yakitori

Yakitori is a type of Japanese grilled chicken skewer most commonly grilled over charcoal. Pieces of chicken, including the giblets, are held together by bamboo skewers and served hot. Although Yakitori is translated as "grilled chicken", other types of skewers, using meats and vegetables, exist as well.

Salary: $18 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required.

Job duties:
– Prepare, cook, and present Yakitori dishes such as Hatsu, Tsukune, Tebasaki, Harami, Butabara, Ebi, and Unagi;
– Prepare, cook, and present Japanese tapas dishes such as Agedashi Tofu, Nankotsu Karaage, and Aburis Shimesaba;
– Plan menus and determine size of food portions and presentation of food;
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
– Estimate food requirements and costs;
– Order supplies and equipment;
– Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
– Clean and inspect kitchen and work areas.
