IACE TRAVEL was established on February 1, 1970 in New York City. Even before airline deregulation occurred in the United States, we provided services such as arranging charter flights and offering discount air tickets (especially for Japanese customers living in the United States).
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $23.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing is required;
– Ability to communicate in Japanese orally and in writing is an asset;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– TICO Certification of Travel Counsellor is not mandatory but considered as an asset;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of previous work experience as a travel consultant is required.
Job duties:
– Co-ordinate, assign and review work;
– Ensure smooth operation of computer systems (e.g. Global Distribution System), and arrange for maintenance and repair work;
– Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with Vancouver office as necessary;
– Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports;
– Identify training needs and train workers in job duties and company policies;
– Handle emergency situations;
– Perform the same duties as a travel consultant if necessary.
