Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of commercial baking experience or completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers or completion of a college or other program for bakers is required.

Job duties:
– Bake and prepare Neo G.F Basque Burnt Cheesecake and Special Occasion Cakes such Strawberry Short Cake with Vanila or Chocolate or Matcha Cream;
– Bake and prepare roll cake such as Strawberry Roll Cake and other Roll Cakes using local fruit in season;
– Bake and prepare choux such as Cookie Choux, and Matcha Cream Cookie Choux;
– Bake and prepare muffins such as Blackberry and Blueberry Muffin, and G.F Matcha Raspberry Muffin;
– Bake cookies such as Breakfast, Dark Chocolate, and Matcha White Chocolate;
– Bake mochi such as Matcha Azuki Mochi, and Black Sesame Mochi;
– Bake croissants such as Butter, Almond, and Cheddar Cheese;
– Prepare dough for cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders;
– Operate machinery;
– Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies;
– Bake mixed dough and batters;
– Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
– Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods;
– Draw up production schedules;
– Ensure products meet the quality standards of NEO COFFEE BAR.
