Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required
Job duties:
– Make soup, boil noodles and prepare ingredients for Japanese Ramen noodle with minimal supervision;
– Prepare, cook, and present Japanese style deep fried dishes such as Takoyaki, Karaage, and Age Gyoza using a deep fryer with minimal supervision;
– Suggest/plan menus and determine size of food portions and presentation of food;
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and order them as needed;
– Estimate food requirements and costs;
– Train/Supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
– Schedule kitchen staff;
– Clean and Inspect kitchen and work areas
