Salary: $34.07 hourly for 30 hours per week

Qualification:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier is required.
Job duties:
– Recruit, select, hire and on-board the best talent;
– Train or arrange for training of staff, and assign staff to duties;
– Recognize and reward extraordinary performance, and give feedback and develop performance improvement plans for underperforming employees;
– Order and sell merchandise;
– Authorize payments by cheque and return of merchandise;
– Establish work schedules and schedule sales staff;
– Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness;
– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales staff and cashiers;
– Train staff in job duties, sanitation, safety procedures and product knowledge;
– Organize and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for sales staff and cashiers;
– Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages when needed;
– Monitor and address customer feedback, working with staff to resolve issue where necessary;
– Open and close the cash register, and balance cash and record sales;
– Establish and facilitate monthly reporting on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters;
– Build purchase orders and import product codes into the POS database;
– Create product profiles online with all related imagery and product descriptions;
– Manage web order fulfillment;
– Maintain webstore front page and product collections, and create sales events online and in store;
– Manage and schedule social media posts.
