Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required
Job duties:
– Prepare ingredients and cook ramen, soba and udon noodle dishes as well as rice dishes;
– Prepare ingredients and cook a la carte menu such as Takoyaki, Gyoza, Karaage and Kushikatsu;
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances if requested;
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and order them when necessary;
– Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies;
– Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;
– Clean and inspect kitchens, work areas, and food service areas
