Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required
– 3 years to less than 5 years of work experience as a cook or a chef in a restaurant is required
Job duties:
– Prepare, cook, and present side dishes such as Gyoza, Takoyaki, Karaage, Tuna Takaki, Kushikatsu, and Yakitori;
– Prepare, cook, and present Ramen, Udon, Donburi, and Bento dishes;
– Prepare and present Sushi and Poke Bowl;
– Requisition food and kitchen supplies;
– Instruct and train staff in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, as well as handling of food;
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances upon request;
– Plan and create new menus;
– Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
